L-H Battery Company October 2024 construction status update

With our main building structure nearly complete, L-H Battery Company’s construction work has shifted to building out interior rooms and the installation of advanced manufacturing equipment.

Significant progress was made over the summer after celebrating the placement of the final structural steel beam, February 29, 2024. Site advancement continues, including utilities and the construction of additional onsite buildings that support the main plant.

L-H Battery associates and construction partners continue to collaborate on the construction site each day, which is contributing to the progress made to date keeping the project on course to start EV battery production in 2025.

The LGES-Honda joint venture has now hired nearly 200 full-time associates for a variety of engineering, leadership, and support roles.
